About
Gobaith Cymru Football Club aims to raise awareness and funds for the approximately 6,500 people across the UK waiting for an organ transplant at any time, including around 150 children and teenagers.
On average 3 people a day sadly pass away in need of a transplant but unable to have one due to a shortage of organ donors. GCFC will campaign to raise awareness, as well as fundraising for worthwhile causes, who support transplant patients, survivors and their families.
We believe that through the power of football we can make a difference through awareness and fund raising.
Our Mission
To support transplant survivors partaking in sport
Provide a support group for transplant list patients and survivors, where people can share experiences, advice and help
Raise awareness regarding transplants including the importance of the organ donor list
Fund raise and campaign for charities which support patients, survivors and their families whether physically, financially or mentally
Our Vision
To represent South Wales by creating a team which has charity and community at it's heart. Through the power of football we can make a difference
